My community work is where leadership becomes personal. It means making room, coordinating the details, showing up without a title and helping people feel that they are part of something.
Ghana Night · PassauAs Ecumenical Speaker, I helped shape Ghana Night, Night of Unity and other events where international students could meet, learn and belong. The work combined logistics, budgets, partnerships, communication and care.
Passau · 2023 to presentLinkedInI coordinated a festive programme connecting university volunteers with residents of Innstadt Villa care home. What began as service became a lasting relationship and an unexpected lesson in belonging.
Passau · December 2024LinkedInA new offline first education project designed to bring useful learning resources to students where internet access cannot be assumed. It continues the same mission: make opportunity practical.

Service and belonging
Months after volunteering at Innstadt Villa, I was invited back as an honoured guest for its 25th anniversary. Seeing my photo among the community's memories reminded me that service creates relationships long after an event ends.
